All Nippon Airways & Sydney Airport Giveaway - Terms and Conditions

Information on how to enter and the prize form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Sydney Airport Corporation (ABN 62 082 578 809) of 10 Arrivals Court Mascot, NSW, 2020, Australia is the promoter of this promotion (“Promoter”).
Entry is only open to residents of New South Wales, Australia aged 18 years and over.
Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter, and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
Entries into the promotion open on 07/04/2025 and close at 11:59pm AEST on 11/05/2025 (“Promotional Period”).

How to enter

To enter, entrants must undertake the following steps during the Promotional Period: (a) visit www.sydneyairport.com.au and follow the prompts to the promotional entry form; (b) input the requested details including full name, mobile number, valid email address and residential postcode; (c) check the box agreeing to these Terms and Conditions; (d) check the box agreeing to receive marketing material from Sydney Airport; (e) check the box agreeing to receive marketing material from All Nippon Airways; and then (f) submit the fully completed form.
As a condition of entry, entrants have consented to the collection and use of their personal information for the purposes of: (a) the Promoter conducting this promotion as set out in clauses 36, 37 and 38; (b) receiving marketing material from Sydney Airport, including the Sydney Airport newsletter; and (c) receiving marketing material from All Nippon Airways . Personal information collected through this promotion will be handled in accordance with clauses 36 to 39 below.
Only one (1) entry is permitted per person.
The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the entry process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter's discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Promoter's legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

How the winner will be chosen

The draw will take place at Sydney Airport, 10 Arrivals Court Mascot, NSW, 2020, Australia on 12/05/2025 at 1:00pm AEST. The Promoter may draw additional reserve entries and record them, in order, in case an invalid entry or ineligible entrant is drawn. The winner will be notified by phone and email within two (2) business days of the draw.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Prize

The first valid entry drawn will win flights to Tokyo, Japan for two (2) people (departing from Sydney Airport) with All Nippon Airways, to Haneda Airport Tokyo, Japan, valued at up to AUD$4,400 depending on the date of departure (“Prize”).
In addition to the Prize, the winner may redeem an optional domestic side trip consisting of two (2) return economy airfares on the All Nippon Airways domestic network. This is a separate offer available from All Nippon Airways and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Sydney Airport. To redeem this additional offer, the winner must book the domestic side trip at the same time as the Prize international flights are booked.
Ancillary costs including but not limited to travel insurance, spending money, accommodation, meals passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, transfers, items of a personal nature and in-room charges are not included. All Nippon Airways and Sydney Airport are not responsible for and will not bear any and all expenses and ancillary costs which may be incurred in the use or redemption of the Prize.
Travel must be completed before 30/11/2026 and is subject to booking, exclusion periods and seat availability at time of booking. Travel must be completed outside of any blackout periods which may apply from time to time, including but not limited to school holidays and public holidays in NSW. All Nippon Airways will advise the winner of any applicable exclusion or blackout periods when providing instructions on redeeming the Prize.
Prize is subject to the All Nippon Airways Conditions of Carriage for International Passengers and Baggage (available at: www.ana.co.jp/en/au/siteinfo/international/conditions-of-carriage/) and Conditions of Carriage for Domestic Passengers and Baggage (available at: www.ana.co.jp/en/jp/guide/terms/dom-conditions-of-carriage/), as applicable.
The winner and their companion are responsible for obtaining any and all visa requirements and travel insurance for the Prize when necessary and if applicable.
The winner and their companion must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together on the same itinerary. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Prize.
Total Prize pool value is up to AUD$4,400.
All prize values stated in these Terms and Conditions are inclusive of GST where applicable, and expressed in AUD, unless specified otherwise.
If the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.
The Prize, or any unused portion of the Prize, is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified.
A draw for the Prize, if unclaimed, may take place on 13/06/2025 at the same time and place as the original draw, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The winner, if any, will be notified by email and phone within two (2) business days of the draw.

General

In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency, pandemic or any other kind of disaster or unforeseeable event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion or suspend, substitute or modify a prize, subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
Subject to clause 25, if for any reason the winner does not take or redeem the Prize by 12/06/2025, then the Prize will be forfeit.
As a condition of accepting the Prize, the winner (and their companion) must sign any legal documentation as and in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity form.
If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, including but not limited to technical difficulties, unauthorised intervention or fraud, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law: (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the States and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the promotion.
Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or an entrant; or (f) use / taking of the Prize.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
The laws of New South Wales, Australia apply to this promotion to the exclusion of all other laws. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. Promotion is void where prohibited.

Use of personal information

Entrants consent to the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (including photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this promotion (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. Entrants may withdraw their consent to using their name, likeness, image and/or voice at a future date by contacting Privacy@syd.com.au
The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such personal information to third parties, including but not limited to agents, contractors, service providers, prize suppliers and, as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. Entry is conditional on providing this personal information.
The Promoter will also use and handle personal information as set out in its Privacy Policy, which can be viewed at https://www.sydneyairport.com.au/info-sheet/privacy. In addition to any use that may be outlined in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, the Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the personal information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages or telephoning the entrant. The Privacy Policy also contains information about how entrants may opt out, access, update or correct their personal information, how entrants may complain about a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles or any other applicable law and how those complaints will be dealt with.
By entering this promotion, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information by All Nippon Airways, its affiliates, partners, contractors and permitted agents as herein described and consistent with applicable laws.
