Sydney Airport’s Master Plan 2033 was approved by the Australian Government in February 2014, which outlines our plan for the operation and development of the nation’s premier airport over the next 20 years.

The plan includes ground transport improvements for our terminal precincts to upgrade your journey to the airport. These were widely supported by the community and other stakeholders during the master plan consultation process.

Our priority is to make it easier to travel to, from or past Sydney Airport by car, taxi, public transport or ridesharing. We're working to ensure:

• less traffic congestion and smoother traffic flow
• better facilities for public transport and taxis
• increasing capacity and catering for forecast growth
• improved access for pedestrians and cyclists
